Hi, my name is Halima A. Hassan I am a London-based, freelance game writer
In 2022, indie studio Die Gute Fabrik selected me from over 2000 applicants to join their team as Writing Intern. I wrote, as part of the writer’s room, for the studio’s upcoming video game Saltsea Chronicles.
I am currently working with game design collective Ghosts on their upcoming arcade racing game as the Lead Writer on the project.
I write stories that surprise, challenge and deal in radical comfort. I'm particularly interested in projects tackling themes of nature, mythology and the climate crisis, with distinctive characters.
